I know it’s been a minute since I last posted any content updates but I can assure you that I have been working feverishly! Since the last devlog post, I’ve been toiling away, creating the first level of the game. (I’ve created others, I’m just building them out of order for some crazy reason) I’ve been creating new NPC’s and also boxing out the level layout in an attempt to set up a fun to explore area. So far it’s coming along fairly well.
I’ve divided the level up into a series of stages. In each stage, the player will learn of and utilize a new mechanic or two that will be used to complete the stage and following challenges throughout the level.
The level isn’t much to look at just yet. I’m still getting the layout down before I go through the hassle of adding details, textures, and whatnot. I mean, seems it would be silly to polish up a boring level. Anywho! Enough yabber. Check out the video and let me know what you think 🙂
